DIVIDE & CONQUER.

The "DIVISION & SEPARATION" meme is seriously cranked on high right now, and Im watching movements and groups being torn apart.  Not by by outsiders, but by rabid "believers" who are ready to defend their immovable belief without ever listening or considering anything else that is being put forward. 

There are certain templates that are continuously used to DIVIDE the people, to break up movements and groups, and tear down systems that are not part of the "Plans" of the Controllers.  "They" have used these same templates over and over again, wielding them with repeated precision time after time... and yet, people STILL fall for it.

It is amazing to me that so many people are, or are getting, caught up in  belief systems so strongly that it becomes like a Religion... just without the god stuff. Anytime a person feels the need to defend their beliefs or personal choices with manic bashing and almost virulent denunciation of anything that goes against their belief.... its time to take a good long look at it to see if you have been sucked into a new belief system that fosters cultish, religious-type control mechanisms.

When people cant move beyond their "Belief" system- regardless of whether its based on religion, spirituality, politics, ethnicity, science, media, advocacy, activism - or any other system that mandates a single approach and a single viewpoint....When people are incapable of even LISTENING to anything outside of their perceived "Truth", then they have shut themselves off to any new information, ideas, perceptions,  facts, or theories. (god forbid someone comes along with a different theory or a new idea within the group!).  When movements and groups are torn apart with dogmatic statements of absolutisms and radical rhetoric, then the PTB have won. At that point, all hope is lost. Because if you are incapable of accepting new ideas, new comprehensions, new information, new perceptions, then you might as well just roll over and give up.

The "Truth" may be "out there", but no ONE person HERE has it. 

There are NO leaders to blindly follow.

NO ONE HAS ALL THE "FACTS" OR "TRUTHS".
NO ONE HAS ALL THE ANSWERS.

The moment you shut yourself off from investigating and researching, the moment you close your mind to anything not within your circle of belief,  and lock yourself up against anything new, you are then missing out on the pieces of the puzzle that you just might need to be able to Comprehend what the fuck is going on.

When you get to the point that you are ready to argue with anything that is outside your accepted group/beliefs/absolutes- Blindly, without even for a single moment being open to other new perspectives and input..... then you have LOST.

When you find yourself in that place where you are vehemently demanding that people accept YOUR "truth" and YOUR "Belief", and when you are willing to insult and rage against anyone who dares to offer an alternative thought or theory, then YOU are now the one perpetuating division and separation, sometimes even while preaching AGAINST division and separation.

.... It literally boggles my mind to see how many brilliant people just keep falling into this trap.

My friends, it is vitally important right now that we all work together. It is vitally important that we drop the division tactics, see the separation template for what it is, and stop following ANYTHING or ANYONE to the EXCLUSION of anything or anyone else.

Let me be very clear here:  The need to focus on UNITY does NOT mean Blindly Following or Agreeing on EVERYTHING.  Believe it or not, you do NOT have to agree on absolutely EVERYTHING in order to have UNITY.  You do NOT have to have a LEADER to have UNITY.  You do NOT need to have a 10 point plan, or a mandate of epic change laid out in a power point presentation to have UNITY.  If anything..... those things are the very basic beginnings of Division.

All we need to have UNITY, is to AGREE to STAND TOGETHER, regardless of beliefs, regardless of whatever group or movement or network we are part of, regardless of leaders, regardless of those perpetuating division & separation.

When we can STAND TOGETHER, Without expectations or demands of beliefs or strict absolutes.....

When we can STAND TOGETHER, Without trying to perpetuate our own personal perceptions over everyone....

When we can STAND TOGETHER Without followers, and without BEing a follower, without leaders, and without BEing a leader....

When we can STAND TOGETHER and Accept, without Judgement....

THAT WE CAN STAND TOGETHER .....

ONLY THEN CAN WE ACHIEVE UNITY

Pope Francis ignites a revolt that will overthrow American capitalism

Yes, Pope Francis is encouraging civil disobedience, leading a rebellion. Listen closely, Francis knows he’s inciting political rebellion, an uprising of the masses against the world’s superrich capitalists. And yet, right-wing conservatives remain in denial, (no they are not.... its all part of the play) tuning out the pope’s message, hoping he’ll just go away like the “Occupy Wall Street” movement did. (D: well isnt that an interesting reference?  Occupy Wall Street was created and funded BY Wall Street.... what does that say about the Popes revolution, eh?)

Never. America’s narcissistic addiction to presidential politics is dumbing down our collective brain. Warning: Forget Bernie vs. Hillary. Forget the circus-clown-car distractions created by Trump vs. the GOP’s Fab 15. Pope Francis is the only real political leader that matters this year. Forget the rest. Here’s why:

Pope Francis is not just leading a “Second American Revolution,” he is rallying people across the Earth, middle class as well as poor, inciting billions to rise up in a global economic revolution, one that could suddenly sweep the planet, like the 1789 French storming the Bastille.

Unfortunately, conservative capitalists — Big Oil, Koch billionaires, our GOP Congress and all fossil-fuel climate-science deniers — are blind to the fact their ideology is on the wrong side of history, that by fighting a no-win battle they are committing suicide, self-destructing their own ideology.

The fact is: The era of capitalism is rapidly dying, a victim of its own success, sabotaged by greed and a loss of a moral code. In 1776 Adam Smith’s capitalism became America’s core economic principle. We enshrined his ideal of capitalism in our constitutional freedoms. We prospered. America became the greatest economic superpower in world history.

But along the way, America forgot Smith’s original foundation was in morals, values, doing what’s right for the common good. Instead we drifted into Ayn Rand’s narcissistic “mutant capitalism,” as Vanguard’s founder Jack Bogle called the distortion of Adam Smith’s principles in his classic, “The Battle for the Soul of Capitalism.” The battle is lost.

In the generation since the Reagan Revolution, America’s self-centered, consumer-driven, mutant capitalism lost its moral compass, drifting: Inequality explodes, income growth stagnates, the poor keep getting poorer. Yet across the world, billionaires have explode from 322 in 2000 to 1,826 in 2015, with 11 trillionaire capitalist families predicted to control the planet by 2100.

But not for much longer, as Pope Francis’ revolution accelerates, as his relentless socialist message of sacred rights for all people makes clear. Why? Our mutating capitalist elite have triggered a massive backlash, a “profound human crisis, the denial of the primacy of the human person. The worship of the ancient golden calf has returned in a new and ruthless guise in the idolatry of money.” (D:  There is that word again:  "Idolatry")

An aggressive Pope Francis is on a mission to transform the mutant ideology of today’s capitalist world with its rampant profits-centered climate-science denialism. Fortunately, the pope will soon confront and challenge America’s GOP Congress directly,  (September 24, 2015) then the United Nations General Assembly  (Sept 25th )to challenge the capitalist world’s failure to take climate change actions. Maybe they’ll finally wake up.

Pope Francis’ recent trip to South America revealed a clear anticapitalism, socialist message, calling for a “structural change to a global economy that runs counter to the plan of Jesus,” as reported in Time by Christopher Hale. Francis warned:

“The future of humanity does not lie solely in the hands of great leaders, the great powers and the elites.” The future “It is fundamentally in the hands of peoples and in their ability to organize. It is in their hands, which can guide with humility and conviction this process of change. I am with you.” The pope is warning all capitalists everywhere. As Jesus says in the Bible, the poor will always be with you, but the rich may not be after the coming revolution.

Yes folks, Pope Francis is a revolutionary destined to end up in the history books right up there with Lenin and Marx, Mao and Castro. He is obviously inciting revolution, wants civil disobedience and political insurrection, he is egging the poor into rebellion against a vastly outnumbered rich.

In fact, Francis has become one of the world’s great revolutionary leaders. He not only is inciting an uprising of the masses against wealthy capitalist billionaires, he’s out in front of the emerging global revolution, encouraging the masses, shouting battle cries, a leader in the tradition of Washington.

So the media should stop mistaking Francis’s congenial nature, his perpetual smile, dismissing his true intentions. His is an aggressive call to arms, a call for a global revolution attacking today’s out-of-control, consumer-driven “mutant capitalism,” a call to replace capitalism with a new economic socialism giving the poor “sacred rights” on par with the superrich.

Time’s Hale went on to outline the four “foundations” of the pope’s coming “revolution.” Hale covered the pope’s tour in South America in, “Pope Francis Isn’t Holding Back — And U.S. Politicians Should Watch Out.” In Bolivia Francis warned that global capitalism is a failure and needs a “structural change” because it runs “counter to the plan of Jesus.” Hale then added that “leaders of both parties might regret their invitation to the 78-year-old Jesuit pontiff” to address a historic joint session of Congress in two months. Five reasons make the warning quite obvious:

1. Socialism: Everyone has a sacred right to land, lodging and labor

“Pope Francis argued that everyone has a God-given right to have a job, to own land, and to have a home.” These rights go “well beyond the traditional social teaching of the Catholic Church, which argues for the dignity of work, but doesn’t go as far to say that everyone has a God-given right to have a job.” But clearly, Pope Francis says the poor do have inalienable “sacred rights” on par with those guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution. And clearly, Scott Walker and the GOP already deny a similar liberal agenda of “sacred rights” to a living wage, property and a home.

2. Humans, not capitalist profits, must be at the center of global economics

Pope Francis message is unambiguous: “Unbridled capitalism” has become a “subtle dictatorship,” is now the very “dung of the devil.” Ouch, that must hurt even the stone-cold Koch ego. Francis says that capitalism’s greedy “unfettered pursuit of money” is destroying the “common good,” setting a stage for revolutions. The pope urged the masses to “say no to an economy of exclusion and inequality, where money rules,” because capitalists will “destroy Mother Earth” in order to enrich the superrich elite. Yet another revolutionary call to battle.

3. Billions worldwide, cannot wait much longer for action

Earlier Pope Francis’ encyclical warned that “doomsday predictions” about climate “can no longer be met with irony, disdain” or dismissed without action. Now, Francis is aggressively pushing world leaders and humans everywhere to fight against all economic injustices against individuals. The clock’s ticking loudly, time is “running out: we are not yet tearing one another apart, but we are tearing apart our common home” here on Earth. Pope Francis also encourages people to start demanding, “We want change!” Remember the 1976 movie “Network”: where an anchorman gets listeners shouting, “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take this anymore!”

4. Revolutions begin with angry citizens, not politicians or philanthropists

Time’s Hale says the pope’s call for “structural change won’t be the result from any one political decision.” The pope understands that politicians rarely lead. Real change is triggered from below, by angry mobs, they get “caught up in the storms of people’s lives,” fired up, rebel, motivated to act, then revolutions ignite and move fast like a wildfire on jet fuel.

5. Warning: Socialism is now a moral obligation, a commandment to obey

Admit it, Pope Francis is clearly inciting people to rebel with his passionate, provocative and inspirational message, which triggers memories of Marx, yet is directly from the Gospels of Jesus: “Working for a just distribution of the fruits of the earth and human labor is not mere philanthropy,” not just a handout from capitalist billionaires.

Instead Pope Francis shifts our focus: The socialism is now “a moral obligation. And for Christians, the responsibility is even greater: it is a commandment. It is about giving to the poor and to peoples what is theirs as a sacred right.” And if we fail to do give it freely, do not be surprised when revolutions explode across Planet Earth.

Way too late at night for this tired person to start writing a blog post, so tonight will just be a smattering of random microcontroller related topics. Might follow up in depth on one or two of them after I have a chance to research  them a bit.

#1 This:  Today, June 18, was officially declared a National Day of Making, and the White House hosted a Maker Faire. Im not much for political speeches, but as a maker and technology advocate, I thought President Obamas talk (see the video on the White House blog) was worth listening to. The White House blog post mentioned that:

"At the first-ever White House Maker Faire, the President also announced a host of new steps to spur manufacturing, innovation, and entrepreneurship by increasing the ability of more Americans, young and old, to have

access to tools and techniques that can bring their ideas to life."

Well have to take some time to look at the host of new steps announced by the President to see if any of them can help build the Humboldt Microcontrollers community, as well as the larger Humboldt Makers community. Maybe we should consider a group project to build a 3D pancake printer. Apparently they printed a pancake portrait of President Obama today at the White House Maker Faire. (See previous blog post about building a 3D pancake printer with Arduinos.)

#1 That:  A Raspberry Pi is a single-board computer (SBC), not a microcontroller, but I found out tonight that there are use cases where distributed systems of multiple Arduinos are connected up to a Raspberry Pi. Ed Smith was discussing that after the Humboldt Makers Group monthly meeting tonight. John Hauser did an excellent overview and demonstration of Raspberry Pies (more than one Raspberry Pi :) at the Humboldt Maker meeting. We had a dozen people at the meeting who learned lots about the Pi and music, as well as a bunch of tips, tricks and watch-outs when working with the Pi.

#2 This: A interesting article on TweakTown reviewed the AdaFruit Neopixel. I wrote a blog post about LEDs earlier in June, and the Neopixel looks like something work researching more deeply. The

TweakTown articles conclusion was:

"Overall, when you compare the Neopixel strips with the cheap Chinese LED strips I have purchased on eBay in the past, the Neopixel blows them out of the water. This is the first strip of individually addressable RGB LEDs that I have actually gotten up and running within five minutes of opening the package...At the end of the day, I cannot recommend Neopixels from Adafruit enough. They are simple enough for even the most novice maker to get up and running, and for the advanced maker, the sky is the limit on what you can do with Neopixels."

#2 That:  Last item for tonight is the recent article about OpenSprinkler Bee Arduino Shield. Because of the high interest in the Humboldt region about organic gardening, local foods and similar topics, the OpenSprinkler Bee might be useful for one or several project this summer. It could even be part of a workshop on enhanced gardening. The article points out that the OpenSprinkler Bee is:

"an open-source Arduino shield for battery-operated (latching solenoid) sprinkler valves. Ideal for projects that are designed to be used in the garden, lawn watering, flower and plant irrigation, together with other water based applications...“The main difference is that OSBee is designed to work with battery-operated sprinkler valves. These valves internally use a latching solenoid, which only draws power when you open or close the valve, and does not draw power if it remains in the same state. So it’s very efficient and suitable for battery-operated controllers."

The Neopixel and OpenSprinkler Bee are likely to be discussed in future posts that look at them in more detail.

The document announces a shift in focus from terrorists to “state actors” that “are challenging international norms.” It is important to understand what these words mean. Governments that challenge international norms are sovereign countries that pursue policies independently of Washington’s policies. These “revisionist states” are threats, not because they plan to attack the US, which the Pentagon admits neither Russia nor China intend, but because they are independent. In other words, the norm is dependence on Washington.

Be sure to grasp the point: The threat is the existence of sovereign states, whose independence of action makes them “revisionist states.” In other words, their independence is out of step with the neoconservative Uni-power doctrine that declares independence to be the right of Washington alone. Washington’s History-given hegemony precludes any other country being independent in its actions.

...This report tells us that war with Russia is our future unless Russia agrees to become a vassal state like every country in Europe, and Canada, Australia, Ukraine, and Japan. Otherwise, the neoconservatives have decided that it is impossible for Americans to tolerate living with a country that makes decisions independently of Washington. If America cannot be The Uni-Power dictating to the world, better that we are all dead. At least that will show the Russians.

What the ultimate connections are remains unclear, but there does seem to be some ripples in the media and financial sectors. The monetary system, along with all the other aspects of society, are heavily manipulated and intended to control consciousness on a massive scale. Possibly these elaborate control systems are showing signs of unraveling. 

Our ability to develop skills for providing material autonomy - food, water and shelter - will help limit any fallout from the collapsing systems of control. The risk of chaos is always present, but the more knowledge we have, the better we can prepare for uncertainty. And we are not alone, all around us are potential partners in co-creation, and when the collapse occurs, we can work together in a grand support network. The idea that people will turn on each other when times gets tough is possible, but history tells us that in the main, adversity usually brings people closer together; not the reverse.

Have you noticed anything odd going on this morning? Oh yes. Let us be the first to tell you that the time to panic is upon us.

ITEM: The New York City subway system suffered an atrocious commute today, with some trains being inexplicably stranded in stations for long periods of time.

ITEM: The website “The Dissolve” folded today. (not sure that this is relevant, but... d)

ITEM: United Airlines was forced to ground all of its flights after its computer system mysteriously stopped working.

ITEM: The New York Stock Exchange suspended trading today after its computerized trading system mysteriously stopped working.

ITEM: Immediately after, the Wall Street Journal’s website mysteriously stopped working. (so did Zerohedge, exactly when the NYSE went down!- d)

ITEM: More than 2,500 people in Washington, DC mysteriously lost power.

It seems our nation’s centers of powers are facing a mysterious and spreading collapse.

I choose to panic. If you choose to remain calm, good—I’ll get away ahead of you.

10 Very Strange Things That Have Happened In Just The Past Few Weeks

Have you noticed that events have begun to accelerate?  Over the past few weeks, things have officially started to get very weird.  Chinese stocks are crashing, the Greek debt crisis is spiraling out of control, the New York Stock Exchange was down for about four hours on Wednesday thanks to a “technical glitch”, and global politicians have been acting very strangely.  After several years of relative calm, could it be possible that the second half of 2015 will usher in a time of chaos and confusion on a worldwide scale?  Personally, I have never been more concerned about a period of time as I am about the last six months of 2015.  And if I am right, what we have seen so far is just the tip of the iceberg.  The following are 10 very strange things that have happened in just the past few weeks…

#1 On Wednesday, the New York Stock Exchange, United Airlines and the Wall Street Journal were all taken down by unexpected “technical glitches“.  (and Zerohedgess site as well!- d)  Authorities are assuring us that hackers were not responsible for any of this.

#2 In China, a full-blown stock market crash is unfolding.  The Shanghai Composite Index has plummeted more than 30 percent in less than a month, and the Chinese version of the NASDAQ has dropped by more than 40 percent.  The amount of “paper wealth” that has been lost in China is 15 times greater than the GDP of Greece.

#3 Just the other day, hackers were able to hack into a German surface-to-air missile battery…

Well, this is absolutely terrifying. According to The Local, hackers attacked a German Patriot surface-to-air missile battery, like the one shown above, stationed along the Turkish-Syria border. The cyber attack caused the battery to carryout “unexplained” orders.

It’s believed that cyber attackers managed to exploit the Patriot battery in two different ways. The first exploit was through the Sensor-Shooter-Interoperability, which controls interactions between the actual, physical missile launcher and its control system, while the other was on the guidance chip. These weaknesses could have allowed the hackers to steal data or, more worryingly, actually take control of the battery.  (we discussed this on Transpicuous News on Wednesdays Special Report- d)

#4 Earlier this week, Barack Obama told reports that “we’re speeding up training of ISIL forces“…

#5 Just a few days ago, the U.S. Mint announced that they were sold out of American Eagle silver coins on the exact same day that the price of silver hit a new low for 2015.  How does that make any sense?

#6 On June 30th, an unexpected blood moon was seen over a significant portion of the United States.  The following is an excerpt from a recent article by Caiden Cowger…

On June 30, 2015, a surprise blood moon appeared in the sky, that was only seen in the United States.

According to the National Weather Service, large wildfires in Canada have been burning. Due to extremely high winds, smoke from these fires have traveled into the United States.

According to NBC-Chattanooga, “the smoke should remain in the higher atmosphere and not affect air quality, it gives the moon and sun a rosy glow.

Here’s what causes the effect:

As light from the moon or sun enters the atmosphere it gets scattered by particles like water, aerosols, and in this case smoke. Green, blue, and purple colors are sent in all directions but colors with longer wavelengths like red, orange and yellow continue through the atmosphere and remain visible to the human eye.”

International Shipping Shuts Down; Baltic Dry Index Freefalling

International cargo vessels today are all docked and anchored in most seaports all over the world, and the last trips they may have had were for the December holidays shopping spree.
As of yesterday, the most prominent global indicator for international shipment of physical goods, the London-based Baltic Dry Index, is in free fall.

For the last six months or so, most cargo container ships were already sailing with less than their full capacity.
The physical economy is crashing and all the warnings that’s been relayed to you for the last four years should have prepared you for what’s to come in the interim.
There may be a short disruption on the supply of critical goods and services especially on areas that are fully industrialized.

“Today, Monday, January 18 2016, the Baltic Dry Index decreased by 4 points, reaching 369 points.

Baltic Dry Index is compiled by the London-based Baltic Exchange and covers prices for transported cargo such as coal, grain and iron ore. The index is based on a daily survey of agents all over the world. Baltic Dry hit a temporary peak on May 20, 2008, when the index hit 11,793. The lowest level ever reached was on Monday, January 18 2016, when the index dropped to 369 points.”

The Oil Crash Of 2016 Has The Big Banks Running Scared

"Since the start of 2015, 42 North American oil companies have filed for bankruptcy, 130,000 good paying energy jobs have been lost in the United States, and at this point 50 percent of all energy junk bonds are “distressed” according to Standard & Poor’s.  As you will see below, some of the big banks have a tremendous amount of loan exposure to the energy industry, and now they are bracing for big losses.  And the longer the price of oil stays this low, the worse the carnage is going to get......

Iran has been carefully planning for its return from the economic penalty box by hoarding tons of oil in tankers at sea.
Now that the U.S. and European Union have lifted some sanctions on Iran, the OPEC country can begin selling its massive stockpile of oil.

Big banks are cringing as crude oil is crumbling.

Now that the oil glut has caused prices to crash below $30 a barrel, turmoil is rippling through the energy industry and souring many of those loans. Dozens of oil companies have gone bankrupt and the ones that havent are feeling enough financial stress to slash spending and cut tens of thousands of jobs.
Three of Americas biggest banks warned last week that oil prices will continue to create headaches on Wall Street -- especially if doomsday scenarios of $20 or even $10 oil play out.

And finally, along with the collapse of the oil industry and oil driven economies (ie: all of them), we have the collapse of a huge amount of global currencies.  The demise of Canadas Loonie has been hot on everyones lips, with multiple articles and news stories about sky rocketing food prices in the land of the Canuck....but the vast majority of the American based articles keep tsk tsk tsking and pointing up north with heavy sighs of "OH what a shame", yet they are seemingly missing the writing on their own wall.  Think that $8 Cauliflowers are just a Canadian problem?  Think that $53.00 for 10kg of flour is just a weird Canadian price anomaly?   Yea..... Think again.

With global shipping all but at a stand still, with a raging drought in California- the USs number one winter produce state- and a Baltex Dry Index that is in free fall (meaning that international shipping has radically dropped and is continuing to drop day after day), and major retail outlets closing left right and center, its only a matter of time before $8 Cauliflowers are going to be slapping the US consumer right in the pocket as well.

You know, theres an old adage, that when you have a problem with 50 other people.... then YOU are the problem.

When over a hundred and fifty countries are having massive economic problems due to their currencies "collapsing" in comparison to the US dollar.... then the problem is with the US Dollar.


.... What remains to be seen now, is just how long it will be before the other countries realize (Publicly) where the problem exists. .....

... Oh wait!  Would THAT be what we are seeing at the moment?  Countries NOT selling to the US?  Countries NOT using the US Dollar for international trade?

US East Coast Military Drills Chinese Navy in Arctic Well that escalated quickly

I woke up this morning to a message that the US Military have called snap drills on the East Coast of America, that MAY interfer with air traffic...... yea....... no, nothing to see here.  Move along.

Last night, reports of Chinese Navy off the Shore of Alaska, exactly when Obama is making the first Presidential visit to the Arctic ever......

Putin is in Beijing, for the WWII Parade, and meeting with various world leaders at the same time...

Chinese and Russian Navys and Militarys are working together in extensive exercises and drills.... in the Sea of Japan, AND the Arctic......

.... And Hey!!!!  Its September!!!   Interesting.....

Last Minute East Coast Military Drills Send Out September Alarm As China Warships Seen Off Coast Of Alaska - Something Very Strange Is Going On!

With the Pentagon recently warning that 5 Chinese war ships were seen off of the coast of Alaska, we take a look at an alarming story from AINonline that tells us on very late notice from the Department of Defense, ADS-B Surveillance and TCAS operations over Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia and Florida might become unreliable as of 1 a.m. September 2nd. 

The National Airspace System has told the FAA that they need much more notice for such military exercises that we learn here will go on until October 1st and will cover up to 200 miles off of the East coast. As the 1st two videos below from Spiro and Professor Doom1tell us, this new information should be a major alert for the entire East coast and anyone at all who is paying attention.

Why would the US military suddenly need to run such exercises off of the East coast of America and on such very short notice? Does this have anything to do with the 1st time ever China war ships seen off of the coast of Alaska? Is all of this tied to the mysterious explosions that we have recently seen in China and the escalating hostile rhetoric, cyberattacks and financial warfare between the two nations? Following the 1st two videos below we take a look at recent reports of Chinese warships seen off the coast of Alaska as well as a video examining what appears to be World War 3 unfolding before our very eyes. 



Why should we be so concerned about these last minute military drills that will shut down the eyes and ears of much of the East Coast in September? As Professor Doom points out, with everything else that has been going on in recently including wellness checks in South Carolina, countless military drills coming out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina and nuclear apocalypse drills in Florida, do they know that something bad is about to occur? With Russian spy ships recently reported to be operating off of the East Coast while theyve also been conducting long-range bomber exercises near US shores and off of the Gulf of Mexico, are we about to witness a major escalation of hostilities towards the US by China, Russia or other hostile entities such as North Korea? Are all of these recent developments more signs that Kissingers warning is about to come true? TCAS, ADS-B Unreliable on East Coast During September

ADS-B surveillance and some TCAS operations in the airspace over Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia and Florida might become unreliable as of September 2 at 1 a.m.EDT, according to a Notam the FAA issued on September 1. The outages are due to events the agency labeled as “late notice from the Department of Defense of military exercises.”NBAA “voiced its concern to the FAA that these sort of significant impact tests need much more notice to operators in the National Airspace System.”

The outages are scheduled to last until midnight October 1. In addition to the areas of concern noted in domestic airspace, the FAA said the outages might well extend up to 200-nm offshore.

The agency said one outage symptom could be the tracks of nearby aircraft first appearing close to the primary aircraft that immediately switch to a traffic alert/resolution alert status onTCAS. Pilots should maintain a heightened watch on the airspace around them and report any incidents of nearby aircraft they believe should have generated alerts, but did not. The relevant Notam numbers are 5/2817, 5/2818, 5/2819, 5/2820 and 5/2834.

Chinese navy sails off Alaska coast as Obama visits Arctic

Five Chinese navy ships have sailed off the coast of Alaska in the Bering Sea, as Barack Obama made the first visit by a sitting US president to the Arctic.

The US confirmed that the vessels were sailing through international waters near Alaska, in the latest example of the growing reach of the Chinese navy

“We are aware of the five People’s Liberation Army Navy ships in the Bering Sea,” said Commander Bill Urban, a Pentagon spokesman. “This is the first time we have observed PLAN ships in the Bering Sea.”

Taking place as Beijing staged a high-profile military parade on Thursday, and ahead of a visit to Washington by China’s President Xi Jinping later this month, the unprecedented demonstration of naval reach is a further reminder of China’s rising global assertiveness.
