I would like to add just a couple of personal comments about the conversation we had on Monday.
On Mondays show, Lisa and I were joined by Bradley Loves and Gary David- the topic on the table was CERN, AI & and NWO. However, as Brad had just recently been in contact with a person called "Harry", aka: Ruiner77, the conversation quickly turned to some of the information this person Harry had been relaying to Brad.
"The Ruiner/Harry" is purportedly an Illuminati escapee whos mentor is one of the few ancient beings still on Earth. During the show, we discussed several of the things that "Harry" had told Brad during all of their private discussions, like: The history of our planet, the role of the Illuminati, and the fact that the"Dracos" are leaving the planet..... abandoning the Illuminati without the benefit of their "magic", and thereby forcing them to develop technology to continue the "Mind-control" of humanity.
It would seem that several people in the chat room were quite pissed off about this conversation, and called out this "Ruiner" person. Others were "disappointed" that Lisa and I would venture into this conversation at all. So I wanted to give my personal opinion of much of what was discussed on Monday....
During the show, as Brad was relaying all of this information from "Harry", my overwhelming thought that kept coming back was: The Wingmakers Material. To better explain the connection, I have to jump back in time to last spring, in Aouchtam Morocco.
Last spring, everyone in the "clubhouse" got caught up in the Wingmaker material/docs, and we actually spent quite a bit of time discussing it- especially the transcript of the final interview that had just been released. As we went through the document, I found myself drawn into the flow of the information, and there were many points that really resonated with me as being "truth"..... yet there was a subtlety to the manipulation of the information. While there was much info that was very interesting and very.... almost enlightening...... there was a manipulation at play that was insidious and very dis-empowering. The words told us all these wonderful things, but the energetics were very different and very manipulative- meant to take away our power and to subtly dissuade us from doing anything. This is my personal opinion.
During Monday nights Roundtable Discussion, I found myself continuously being reminded of the Wingmakers information. There is a similarity to the "energetics", if you will, of the message. "Harry" brings forward, information that of course we can neither confirm nor deny, that is very interesting and it draws you in. And yet, there is continuously a subtle dis-empowering message woven throughout his story. I have gone to his site and read through several pieces that hes published, and this feeling of deliberate distraction is over whelming to me.
Again, just my personal opinion.
The distraction game is being rolled out with massive push. All over the place, it seems that "they" are pushing the distraction/division agenda bigger than ever before. Not just in the Main Stream Media, but all through the alternative media as well. Groups all over the planet are rearing their heads to to pull our attention away from whats really going on, and to distract us from searching for the facts and the truth of our moment in time, so to speak. And we all need to be seriously aware of the distractions around us.
Having said that, I think it is also important for us to discuss these distractions and to thoroughly look at various pieces of information that are coming out right now- even if only to make the distraction clearly seen. So yes, Lisa and I will continue our journey of searching and you are invited to join us on that journey every week on the One People Roundtable Discussions. As I always say: No one "KNOWS" all of the "TRUTH"...... but we keep seeking the pieces that each person brings forward, to put together a bigger picture of what "May" be the "Truth".

Saudi Arabia Warns "Rumor-Mongers" On Facebook And Twitter Risk Execution
According to state-run Makkah Newspaper in Saudi Arabia, the wealthy Gulf-nation is threatening its citizens with the death penalty for spreading rumors about the government on social media. An anonymous source within the Ministry of Justice stated only the worst “rumour-mongers” will be sentenced to death, while lesser offenders of the new policy will be disciplined with flogging, imprisonment, travel bans, house arrest, fines and social media bans.
Although the source is not mentioned by name, it should not be assumed that details of the column are any less credible. ...Just in case you are looking for last Mondays One People Roundtable Discussion, the video is still being uploaded.... for the billionth time. Yes, technical issues abound.
So tonight I started working on the #7 Jeremy Blum ‘Arduino basics’ video tutorial. This video covers I2C communication and the Processing programming language.
I2C (Inter-Integrated Circuit), most commonly pronounced I-Squared-C, lets an Arduino communicate with I2C or TWI (Two Wire Interface) devices. In the case of Jeremy’s #7 video, the device is a temperature sensor. The other focus of this video tutorial is the Processing programming language, and that is used in this video to display the temperature data on a computer display.
I2C will be used a lot for microcontroller (MCU) projects, so you’ll want to become familiar and skilled with it. Wikipedia has this to say about I2C:
“I²C...is a multimaster serial single-ended computer bus invented by the Philips semiconductor division, today NXP Semiconductors, and used for attaching low-speed peripherals to a motherboard, embedded system, cellphone, or other digital electronic devices. Several competitors, such as Siemens AG...now Intel mobile communications, NEC, Texas Instruments, STMicroelectronics...Motorola...and Intersil, have introduced compatible I²C products to the market...”
SparkFun has a pretty good tutorial on I2C that provides excellent background reading for better understanding the #7 video. The tutorial gives this overview of the protocol:
“The Inter-integrated Circuit (I2C) Protocol is a protocol intended to allow multiple “slave” digital integrated circuits (“chips”) to communicate with one or more “master” chips. Like the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI), it is only intended for short distance communications within a single device. Like Asynchronous Serial Interfaces (such as RS-232 or UARTs), it only requires two signal wires to exchange information….I2C requires a mere two wires, like asynchronous serial, but those two wires can support up to 1008 slave devices. Also, unlike SPI, I2C can support a multi-master system, allowing more than one master to communicate with all devices on the bus (although the master devices can’t talk to each other over the bus and must take turns using the bus lines).”
The master / slave issue is one that will affect your MCU projects that have multiple I2C devices, like a bunch of temperature sensors. Each slave device needs to have its own ID number, and Jeremy mentions that you can sometimes order an I2C device with a specific ID. So that’s something you’ll need to figure out before you order the components for a project.
Jeremy also talks about the SDA and SCL lines. The SparkFun tutorial says this about those:
“Each I2C bus consists of two signals: SCL and SDA. SCL is the clock signal, and SDA is the data signal. The clock signal is always generated by the current bus master...Messages are broken up into two types of frame: an address frame, where the master indicates the slave to which the message is being sent, and one or more data frames, which are 8-bit data messages passed from master to slave or vice versa. Data is placed on the SDA line after SCL goes low, and is sampled after the SCL line goes high...To initiate the address frame, the master device leaves SCL high and pulls SDA low. This puts all slave devices on notice that a transmission is about to start.”

The temperature sensor used in the #7 video exercise is a Microchip Technology TC74A0-5.0VAT, which you can get from Newark, Digikey and other electronic component distributors. Jeremy mentions checking the Microchip datasheet for the sensor to find out what each pin is for on the sensor. Those pins are shown in the picture to the right.
On the subject of sourcing electronic components, if you haven’t tried using Octopart, a search engine for electronic parts, you might want to give it a try. It’s been very useful for most parts I’ve researched on it. For the #7 video temperature sensor, it gave a helpful view of the cost and availability of the component.
The above temperature sensor is only one of many available temperature sensors. Microchip Technology makes many models, as do other manufacturers like Texas Instruments or Honeywell. There are also temperature sensors which use different technologies, such as thermistor, thermocouple and RTD. Processing language
With regards to the Processing programming language, the main topics in the #7 video are (1) setting the font to be displayed by the Arduino on your computer screen and (2) writing the code to convert the temperature sensor’s input to the Arduino into a computer display of the measured temperature, in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. If you don’t already know how, you’ll learn how to set up the code to let your temperature sensing circuit use Processing, choose and configure your font, grab the temperature data the sensor sends to the Arduino and do math with those signals. For the font, you need to specify color ‘numbers’ for the R, G and B values (red, green, blue). There are lots of tools to help you with figuring out the color values you want, with a 500+ color chart from Cloford.com or the RGB color codes chart from RapidTables being good places to start if you don’t already have a resource for helping you specify color values.
Arduino LED color picker
Two somewhat technical and time-consuming options to consider are color selectors for a smartphone, such as the apps for Android, or, in a slightly recursive twist, the Arduino LED color picker from Andrew Rapp which, in a way, helps you learn about color after you learn about color.
I guess that’s enough for tonight on I2C, temperature sensing and Processing. Yesterday I ordered the rest of electronic components to be able to do the first five Jeremy Blum Arduino Basics video tutorials (I hope), and the multimeter and soldering iron arrived from Adafruit. Today the sensor package from SparkFun arrived, and tonight I started the #3 Blum video tutorial.
Ive got most of the components needed for the Blum video tutorials, but I didnt have everything needed for the #3 video. I just watched the video and reviewed the electronics formulas that Jeremy explained and did the parts of the exercises that I could. As soon as the final order of components arrive, Ill be able to complete the #3 video.
After I finish the first five video tutorials, Im going to review all the exercises to make sure I understand all the component breadboard circuits I hooked up and all the programs I wrote. Up to this point, I understand some of what Ive done, but other parts of the exercises have just been copying exactly what Jeremy does in the videos, rather than understanding and being able to do it without any instructions. Ill update the wiki with the component information Im figuring out, with links to helpful resources and with the beginning programming concepts that are used in the exercises.
Speaking of the wiki, I found out that Wikispaces no longer gives unlimited accounts on their free wikis. You can now only have 5 accounts on a wiki unless you pay. Ed graciously offered to host the Humboldt Microcontrollers Group wiki on his server, so after he gets it set up, well start moving content over to his wiki. Well be using MediaWiki because thats the easiest one to get rolling on his server, and its a pretty familiar format because most people are familiar with Wikipedia, which uses MediaWiki.
Tomorrow night, May 29, is the second meeting of the Humboldt Microcontrollers Group. Well be meeting from 6 to 8 PM at 1385 8th Street in Arcata, California, USA. People interested in microcontrollers or Arduinos are invited to join us -- the event is free, you dont have to know how to program microcontrollers, and theres no need to be a member of anything to participate.
Well meet first with everyone to discuss stuff everyone should hear or be involved in. Then well split into two groups -- the beginners who are interested in learning about microcontrollers, and the people with previous microcontroller experience who want to do MCU projects and learn or share microcontroller tricks that not everyone knows.
Well well well..... Monday nights One People Roundtable Discussion was an interesting show.... not just in content, but in all that happened DURING the show.
We know that technical crap always happens during The One Peoples Show, so when the Live Stream crashed 2 minutes before going live, we just shrugged and made a joke about "Hey! It must be Monday night, there goes the stream"!! But that was just barely the tip of the ice berg. With in the first 12 minutes of being live, Biggi already had 2400 "error messages" coming through, so we knew it was going to be a rocky road this week.... But holy shit! That was just the beginning of the weirdness.
The stream was crashing all over the world, but not just simply crashing.... but looping back, repeating certain sections of the show.... then hanging. Considering that for part of the show we were discussing "timelines/timeshifting" we kinda found that a bit ironic. Our audience were jumping from site to site, trying to find a stream that was stable enough .... Then, right in the middle of a conversation Lisa and I were having about WWII and the video "The Greatest story never told", we got a report from Barbara in NY- Lisas co-host on the Collective Imagination- that with only one single browser window open on her computer, she was SEEing us... but hearing a completely different show, (suspect it was Alex Jones) in the audio- who was ALSO talking about WWII and "The greatest story never told" at the exact same time!! After the show was over, I received a message from two other viewers who experienced the exact same thing!
The attacks on the outgoing stream got so bad, that for the first time in CCN history, Biggi had to stop the show, and reboot the whole thing in an attempt to try and get the stream stable.
It was an interesting night, let me tell ya!!! Because of the huge problems with the live stream, Biggi busted his balls to get the Video Archive of the show out super fast. A HUGE thank you to Biggi!!!

So tonight I finished the #2 Jeremy Blum video tutorial on Arduino Basics.
I was hoping to finish both #2 and #3 videos this weekend, but life interrupted and the best I could do was to finish the #2 video. Connecting the components for each of the exercises in the videos then writing or modifying the sketches (Arduino programs) per Jeremys instructions isnt hard, generally speaking. But it does give a small sense of satisfaction just to watch the LED blink correctly or for the LED to brighten as you press the switch. Baby steps. With a lot more components, a lot longer and more complicated sketch, and probably longer debugging time, when I upload the make the robot walk sketch and hit the run switch, Ill have the satisfaction of seeing the robot walk across the room! Or the Halloween decoration light up and emit scary sounds. Or the garden sensors check the soil moisture to let me know if the tomatoes need to be watered.
The screws I complained about yesterday for attaching the Arduino to the wooden base -- apparently they werent missing. What was missing was my understanding that when the instructions said screws, they were referring to what I think of as bolts. So now the Arduino Uno is attached to the wooden base. With screws and nuts.
Also had a chance today to find all the components online that I need to finish ordering for the first five Arduino Basics video tutorials. Ill place the order for those tomorrow. The parts ordered last week from Adafruit and SparkFun should arrive sometime this week.

Tonights post is a quick look at the #6 Arduino video tutorial from Jeremy Blum, which is the main topic for the Humboldt Microcontrollers Group meeting this Thursday, June 26.
The #6 video tutorial, Serial and Processing takes a look at how to use an Arduino for communicating with the computer via a serial connection and using a programming language called Processing to visualize information from an Arduino on your computer screen.
For the serial communication between the Arduino Uno and the computer, the 0 RX (receive) pin and the 1 TX (transmit) pin on the Arduino are used. You connect the Arduino to your computer via a USB cable, which has 4 pins in it. One is power and one is ground. The other two are the serial transmit and receive pins. The USB transmit pin from the computer connects with the receive (RX) pin on the Arduino, and the computers USB receive pin connects to the Arduino transmit (TX) pin.
Jeremy runs through a number of Arduino programming examples for learning how to use the serial communication features. If you go through the #6 Blum video and feel you still want a little more background on serial communication with Arduinos, here are three other resources to look at:

After he does the serial communications exercises, Jeremy covers a little bit about the programming language Processing. You start out by going to the website for Processing. The home webpage for Processing says its an open source language that:

Initially created to serve as a software sketchbook and to teach computer programming fundamentals within a visual context, Processing evolved into a development tool for professionals...there are tens of thousands of students, artists, designers, researchers, and hobbyists who use Processing for learning, prototyping, and production."

Yesterday I ordered the rest of electronic components to be able to do the first five Jeremy Blum Arduino Basics video tutorials (I hope), and the multimeter and soldering iron arrived from Adafruit. Today the sensor package from SparkFun arrived, and tonight I started the #3 Blum video tutorial.
Speaking of the wiki, I found out that Wikispaces no longer gives unlimited accounts on their free wikis. You can now only have 5 accounts on a wiki unless you pay. Ed graciously offered to host the Humboldt Microcontrollers Group wiki on his server, so after he gets it set up, well start moving content over to his wiki. Well be using MediaWiki because thats the easiest one to get rolling on his server, and its a pretty familiar format because most people are familiar with Wikipedia, which uses MediaWiki.
Well meet first with everyone to discuss stuff everyone should hear or be involved in. Then well split into two groups -- the beginners who are interested in learning about microcontrollers, and the people with previous microcontroller experience who want to do MCU projects and learn or share microcontroller tricks that not everyone knows.
